Star jockey Jamie Kah took a significant stride in her racing comeback, participating in Cranbourne trials after recovering from head injuries.
Linking up with premier trainers Ciaron Maher and David Eustace, Kah steered Boldinho to a narrow win in the fifth heat and rode Group 2 winner Steinem to victory in the sixth trial, displaying her trademark balance.
Her return to racing remains uncertain following her fall in the Group 2 VRC Sires’ Produce Stakes at Flemington.
However, her impressive trial performance has heightened expectations for her competitive return.
Kah’s journey back is not without challenges, as she faces an appearance before the Victorian Racing Tribunal due to allegations of conduct prejudicial to the sport’s welfare.
