Mosheen winning the G1 Vinery Stud Stakes
The Aquanita doping scandal has now spread to at least three other states with the release of more text messages.
Racing NSW stewards have requested information regarding Robert Smerdon’s star filly Mosheen ahead of the Group 1 Vinery Stud Stakes in 2012.
Mosheen was allegedly ‘topped-up’ ahead of her second placed finish in the Group 1 Thousand Guineas in 2011.
Other text messages have mentioned horses in lead up to races in both Tasmania and South Australia with La Fantastique mentioned as having a “top-up” ahead of her Tasmanian Oaks win in 2011.
These messages are on the back of earlier messages released by The Herald Sun outlining horses in lead up to the Melbourne Cup in 2015 were also ‘topped up’.
