Hartnell will head to the Emirates Stakes at Flemington
Despite a relatively poor run on face value in the Caulfield Stakes where he was well beaten as the favourite Hartnell will press on this preparation.
The multiple Group 1 winner will have his next run in the $2m Emirates Stakes at Flemington on 11th November.
Hartnell is $9.00 in markets with Winx dominating the betting as the $1.50 favourite although a start in the race for the Champion mare is questionable with a decision to be made after the Cox Plate.
