Exciting three-year-old filly Forbidden Love has shown her class in the Listed Gosford Guineas on Tuesday.
The Richard & Michael Freedman trained filly jumped as the well backed favourite in one of the feature events on Tuesday’s Gosford program and she was far too good for her rivals sitting just off the pace and pouncing on the leader 150m and holding a solid margin to the line.
Forbidden Love was the class horse in the race having placed in the Group One Empire Rose Stakes at Flemington in her last outing at the races beaten less than a length by Shout The Bar and Odeum.
Trainer Richard Freedman explained the three-year-old will now head to Magic Millions carnival in the new year to target the $2m Magic Millions Guineas on January 16th.
‘She’ll probably need to improve to win the Guineas up there but there is improvement in her,” Freedman said.
“I’m just delighted to see her get the job done today for some really nice people.
