Final slots filled for inaugural $1m Supernova

The field for Saturday’s $1 million Supernova at Pakenham is nearing completion, with the final four runners for the 1400m slot race announced on Monday.

Lindsay Park Racing was first to lock in a contender, selecting the talented Here To Shock for its slot. The galloper is part-owned by Slade Bloodstock, which will also have Roll On High representing Peter Moody’s stable, doubling Slade’s presence in the prestigious race.

OTI Racing followed suit, selecting Buffalo River, who is expected to set the pace as the likely race leader. The final slot was confirmed by training duo Trent Busuttin and Natalie Young, who chose Pascero as their contender.

The inaugural Supernova, Pakenham’s first-ever slot race, boasts a competitive field of 14 runners featuring proven stars, versatile performers, and up-and-coming talent, all vying for a share of the $1 million prize pool.
