This exciting WA filly WATCH ME DANCE (I’m All The Talk-Coventry To Rio) looks the next most likely WA superstar to trek across the Nullabor one day, after she showed her brilliance winning the $500,000 Sky Racing WA Guineas.
The 1600m is a Gr 2 event.
And all ladies syndicate own her and she is just a superstar in the making.
“She is incredible. The owners are incredible, the jockey is incredible and the old trainer is OK,” said that old trainer Steve Wolfe.
She won in the mud last weekend in the Champion Fillies stakes, mud that was up to her belly button.
It took a lot out of her, but she is so tough and she backed up on a good track and wore down the leader to win today, as the trainer called her, “like a real good Bob Peters horse.”
This filly was the Champion 2YO last year and is now the best 3YO in the state.
“The ladies have a superstar horse yet they are complaining they have to buy a new dress every start, but they are all happy now,” added the trainer.
Shaun McCruddy, who won earlier in the day on another rising star 3YO filly in Chantorque, was on top of the winner here also.
He rode her a treat and rated this win up there with his pair of Gr 1 Karrakatta Plate win.
The leader EM TEE AYE (I’m All The Talk –Azita) fought doggedly to run 2nd with DOM TO WIN (Shooting To Win-Princess rouge) rushing home hard from the back to grab 3rd.
The 3rd horse was third behind her as a 2YO at Gr 1 level too…..so there must be a sense of frustration for his connections.
This was the winners 5th win from 11 starts with five placings also and she has now won $755,000 in prizemoney.
