Star Australian sprinter Classique Legend is in doubt to run in the Hong Kong International Sprint on Sunday week.
Classique Legend was the emphatic winner of The Everest in October prior to heading to Hong Kong to be trained by Caspar Fownes to race in Hong Kong.
The Hong Kong Sprint will be raced on 13th December where Classique Legend is the odds on $1.80 favourite with Sportsbet despite his trainer saying he will be underdone for the race with a possibility that the horse may not even line-up in the race.
Speaking with Radio TAB this morning Fownes described Classique Legend as a very talented horse but remains concerned as the horse is a wind sucker which could affect his long term racing future however luckily it has not caused a problem as of yet.
Classique Legend stepped out for the first time in Hong Kong last week in a trial where he finished third.
