Young jockey Campbell Rawiller has kicked off 2025 with a win aboard Party Stop at King Island for trainer Bill Hayes, before setting his sights on a unique opportunity in Hong Kong.
Later this month, Rawiller will head to Hong Kong for a five-week stint assisting with the Hong Kong International Sale on March 7, where he’ll help prepare breeze-up horses for prospective buyers.
“From there onwards you have owners and trainers looking to buy them from what they show on the track, and from my perspective, I’ll be putting my final touches on them,” Rawiller said.
Rawiller’s connection to Hong Kong runs deep, having grown up there while his father, Nash Rawiller, rode.
“I have got a lot of friends over there… I love the racing there,” he shared.
Upon his return to Australia in late March, Rawiller plans to resume race riding during the jumps season while continuing to manage his greyhound interests.
