Ayrton is the odds on favourite in Saturday's Fred Best Classic
The winner of the Fred Best Classic (1400m) this Saturday at Eagle Farm gets ballot exemption for the Stradbroke and the Sportsbet.com.au market has an unbeaten Victorian claiming that spot.
Ayrton is 3/3 to start his career and the ratings boys and girls think he is destined for the top shelf. The market thinks so as well given he is $3.50 in the all in market for the Stradbroke, but first has to win this race on the weekend, where he is the $1.65 favourite.
The only runner remotely close to him in betting is Exoboom, who is at $7. You then have to jump to $11 to find the next best, which is Apache Chase, who has firmed from $13.
