Boom 3YO Royal Symphony will have his next start in Saturday weeks Cox Plate where he is set to clash with Champion mare Winx.
Royal Symphony jumped as the favourite in the Caulfield Guineas on the weekend although a luckless run in transit saw him finish out of the placings in fourth.
The disappointing finish hasn’t deterred trainer Tony McEvoy stepping the colt up again in classic in the WFA Cox Plate 2017 where he is currently a $26 chance in markets.
