One time AJC Australian Derby favourite Absolutelyawesome is out of the race.
Acceptances were taken for the AJC Derby (2400m) this morning.
Absolutelyawesome, who was favourite until a disappointing run in the Rosehill Guineas (2000m), was not among acceptances after a foot abscess failed to clear.
Also not among acceptances was Phar Lap Stakes winner Blackie, who ran poorly in the Tulloch Stakes (2000m) last Saturday.
Trainer Mick Kent will still have a runner in Alistair Clark Stakes winner Domesky.
Others to come out this morning include Shadows in the Sun, Shootoff and Pressday.
The field will be released in just under an hour.
