A race in France overnight had to be called off due to a major barrier bungle.
The event Race two on the Argentan card was called off mid-race in France overnight because the starting stalls were unable to be moved from the course.
“And I think they’re trying to stop them here. A couple of them have pulled up at the rear of the field,” racecaller Ian Bartlett said.
“They’re stopping up and, yes, they can’t move the stalls.”
“Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear … so the race has been stopped.”
