A female punter in the US has turned a measly $18 bet into $1.2million dollars on Sunday’s Kentucky Derby.
The women who does not wish to be named made a Pick 5 wager at the Retama Park racetrack in Salem on the Kentucky Derby card with all five horses winning netting her the massive collect.
“Not only did she pick Justify to win the Kentucky Derby, she selected the winners of all four races leading up to the main event. It’s extremely rare, to bet that little amount of money and win $1.2 million is unheard of. In fact, it’s the first time it’s happened at Retama.” Rachel Bagnetto, spokeswoman for Retama Park, told ABC News.
