Honorable Spirit has been an alarming drifter in today's Toowoomba Cup
In form stayer Honorable Spirit is favourite with Ladbrokes.com.au market for the Toowoomba Cup (2000m) this afternoon in what looks an open race.
The John Smerdon trained gelding won the Gold Coast Cup last time out and is a proven performer at the track. He is favourite, but has been a bit on the easy side, sitting at $4.60 after opening $4.
Challenging to be favourite is Bartholemeu Dias, who is at $5 on the second line of betting, a half point clear of Seat Of Power and Aussie Nugget, both last start Doomben winners.
