Quality horse I Am Superman is the Sportsbet.com.au favourite for the get out at Caulfield this Saturday, the Kevin Heffernan Stakes (1400m).
The key to this horse is the forecast and the track. Anything worse than a Soft5 and he’ll struggle, likely a scratching. Better than a Soft5 and he’ll be hard in the market. He heads the betting at $3.80.
The best backed in early betting has clearly been Ranier, who opened $9 and is now into $6.50. In a positive sign, import Sinawann has early interest, into $7 from $9.50 before settling at $8.
