Surfin Bird is the short priced favourite with wagering companies for the Dark Jewel Classic (1400m) today at Scone.
The GaiBott trained mare just missed first up in the Hawkesbury Crown and looks primed for 1400m. She has been heavily backed throughout betting and now sits at $2.50.
