Sunlight has shortened in early Manikato Stakes markets
A couple of horses who ran well at Caulfield have tightened in with the TAB for the Manikato Stakes (1200m) at Moonee Valley in a couple of weeks.
Sunlight scored a rather dominant win in the Thoroughbred Club Stakes (1200m) and trainer Tony McEvoy said post race that the likely next assignment would be the Manikato. After hearing that news, her price came into $17 from $26.
Booker, an Ellerton/Zahra trained mare, ran a narrow second to Winter Bride in the Northwood Plume and is now at $26 after being $51 before the weekend.
