There has been a bit of a shake-up to the 2018 Golden Slipper market after trials at Randwick this morning.
Three horses have seen their odds shorten for theΒ 2018 Golden Slipper after impressive trials this morning.
Performer who dislodged jockey Hugh Bowman trialled in blinkers successfully and has shortened from $8.00 into $7.00 in markets whilst another trial winner Santos has also firmed from $9.00 into $8.00.
Of the horses in double figures, Seabrook has been the notable firmer despite not being one of the Slipper horses to trial this morning.
Santos trial:
Another #GoldenSlipper contender to just work @royalrandwick this morning was the @GaiWaterhouse1 & Adrian Bott colt Santos who covered plenty of ground but finished off very strongly. The unraced @EdwardORourke1 colt Saint Peter also went exceptionally well. pic.twitter.com/4UJcTuRwzU

Performer trial:
Performer was required to come back to the trials after his mishap on Saturday and he worked beautifully!
Blinkers on and didn't he finish off impressively under @KPMcEvoy.
Perhaps right back in #GoldenSlipper calculations if there was any doubt… pic.twitter.com/mbakPKu3ai— Sky Racing (@SkyRacingAU) March 14, 2018
