The Everest this weekend is set-up to be a cracking race and arguably the countries best sprinter Santa Ana Lane heads the market.
Santa Ana Lane returned in the Gilgai Stakes and ran an eye catching second to the race hard fit Sunlight and has been installed at the top of the market for Saturday’s $14m sprint feature at Randwick at $4.60 days out from the race and should jump favourite.
Pierata sits on the second line of betting for The Everest at $5.50 after two impressive runs this campaign including a win in The Shorts beating fellow Everest contenders Classique Legend and Redzel.
Despite being on the third line of betting Arcadia Queen is arguably the most exciting horse in the race and she showed how good she was winning the G2 Theo Marks Stakes convincingly at her first Sydney start. Punters don’t really know how to line her form up against the countries best sprinters but she is sure to be kept very safe and could be the horse they back late.
Two time winner of the race Redzel and 3YO star colt Yes Yes Yes are both at $10 with all other runners in the race at each way odds.
