Online bookmaker Sportsbet.com.au has opened betting on the three Group races taking place at Royal Randwick on Saturday.

Randwick Guineas

El Roca holds top spot in betting at $4.40. On a seven day back-up, El Roca should be peaking, is back against its own age and the 1600m suits.
Atlante is on the second line at $6.00. The mile is a plus and will be looking for a drier surface despite hitting the line strongly for second in the Hobartville Stakes in the wet.
Dissident follows at $7.00 and is entitled to be one of the top fancies. Bull Point and Eurozone return to Sydney after Melbourne campaigns and are at $9.00 with Savvy Nature.
Romantic Touch, Woodbine and Criterion are currently all at $11.

Canterbury Stakes

A fascinating race sees the return of Chris Waller’s superstar sprinter Zoustar, who is the short priced $2.40 favourite. His spring performances stamped him as the heir apparent to the Australian sprinting crown.
On the next line of betting is another three-year-old, Not Listenin’tome at $4.50. The Team Hawkes trained gelding finished second to Zoustar Group 1 Coolmore Stud Stakes.
Super consistent mare Appearance ($5.50) looms as the main danger to the three-year-olds. Gutsy front running mare Red Tracer ($6.00) is the only other runner under double figures.
Rain Affair and Streama are paying $17.

Challenge Stakes

The three time Group 1 winner Buffering ($4.00) returns from a break and is opened on the second line of betting.
Snitzerland, emphatic winner of the Group 1 Lightning last start, heads the betting at $2.25.
There appears very little between the pair – Snitzerland has the fitness edge while Buffering’s trainer will be aiming to have his star peak for The Championships, where he is $6.00 for the T.J. Smith.
The ever improving Sessions ($6.50) could be the knock-out horse and is the only other runner in single figures.
