I Am A Star has been heavily backed to win the Oakleigh Plate
Mornington filly I Am A Star was the main mover in Oakleigh Plate betting following the barrier draw.
Online bookmaker sportsbet.com.au tightened I Am A Star from $10 into $8.00 for the Caulfield Group 1.
She is now on the third line of betting behind favourite Extreme Choice, who has eased from $3.60 out to $3.90.
Fell Swoop and Hellbent have both eased from their opening quotes and share the second line on $7.50.
“The money has come for I Am A Star and she is now the third best backed runner. Extreme Choice remains the top pick with punters, but the flow of money for that colt has slowed,’’ said sportsbet.com.au’s Will Byrne.
