Punters show Intent backing long shot

He has drawn the carpark, but Sportsbet.com.au punters are warming to the price of Wicked Intent in the Mick Dittman Plate (1000m) this Saturday at the Sunshine Coast.

The Chris Munce trained sprinter has taken on the older horses in both runs this time in, winning first up before failing next time out. Despite drawing barrier 16 of 20, he has been backed, into $13 from $15.

Favourite for the race is unbeaten filly Blue Desert Moon, who opened $3.40 and has eased a touch to $3.50. In terms of value, Jetsonic ($41-$34) has had admirers at a price.
