Princess Jenni has been heavily backed to win Friday nights Stocks Stakes
Punters have clearly singled out two runners who they think will fight the finish out in the Stocks Stakes (1600m) this Friday night at Moonee Valley.
Miss Siska and Princess Jenni both resumed in the Let’s Elope at Flemington with the former finishing second to Spanish Whisper while Princess Jenni got back and warmed to the task late. They dominate the market early, with Miss Siska a $2.80 favourite, in from $3, while Princess Jenni opened $4.20 and is now into $3.40.
Silent Roar ($14-$13) looks to get a good run on speed and has admirers, as does Tides ($14-$12-$14), who is beautifully bred and some blacktype next to her name will seal her post racing career.
