Punters plunge on Tassie raider in The Showdown at Caulfield

Bello Beau has been smashed in Ladbrokes.com.au betting for the feature race at Caulfield this Saturday, The Showdown (1200m).

The Tassie raider was unbeaten leading into The Valley last time out and had no luck in the straight. With clear air, he’ll take beating and the punters are siding with him, into $2.40 from $2.90.

Sir Bailey opened $4.40 but with the support for Bello Beau, he has gone soft and is now at $5. Gold Rush winner Hollerlujah is the only other runner at single figures, sitting at $7.
