Finche is only just hanging onto equal favouritism for the race but has been easy at every turn since drawing a horror barrier with his opening price of $5.00 now out to $6.50.
Japanese stayer Mer De Grace is another horse on the drift since the barrier draw, he is $6.50 out to $8.50 with Mr Quickie and Vow And Declare the other runners in single figures at $7.50 and $8.00 and solid.
