The St Leger winner from last year has been the best backed runner with Sportsbet.com.au to take out the VOBIS Gold Stayers (2400m) this Saturday at Caulfield.
The Team Freedman comes here off the back of an all the way win at Moonee Valley on a day where on speed runners were favoured. Punters believe that confidence boost would have done him the world of good, because he has bee $14 into $9.50.
Bondeiger, a real rogue with the punters, opened the $2.90 favourite after opening $2.70, just ahead of Scherzoso at $3.80. Music To Midnight ($51-$41), Desert Samurai ($23-$16) and Danehill Downs ($51-$41) have all had their admirers.
