Moreira & Weir are both tipped to have multiple wins
Champion international jockey Joao Moreira is set to star at tomorrow’s Morphettville meeting with a full-book of rides.
Online bookmaker sportsbet.com.au has priced “Magic Moreira” at $2.80 to ride at least one winner, $3.80 for a double and $6.00 for three or more.
He is $5.00 to go winless on the eight event card.
Punters can also stick with champion Victorian trainer Darren Weir.
Fresh from a record breaking 14 wins, over the three days at Warrnambool, Weir is $2.80 to train at least one winner, $3.80 for a double and $4.00 to go home without a trophy.
“The Magic Man and D.K. Weir are headline acts and they have multiple chances to get among the winners. Joao has eight rides and six of his mounts are in the top two in betting, so $2.80 looks generous,’’ said sportsbet.com.au’s Will Byrne.
