Punter turns $150 into $36,000 on jockey challenge multi

A triple dead-heat in yesterday’s Gold Coast jockey challenge helped one punter turn $150 into over $36,000.

Larry Cassidy, a $101 shot in the challenge, won the last race to finish the meeting, equal on four points, with Jim Byrne and Mick Cahill.

With his ‘Lucky 15’ wager the punter coupled Cassidy with Jamie Kah ($2.10) at Balaklava, Craig Williams ($2.75) at Bendigo and Corey Brown ($8.00) at Canterbury.
