One TAB punter enjoyed yesterday’s racing after collecting $60,778 from a $100 multi involving three different meetings.
The TAB customer in question picked races at Caulfield, Randwick and Ascot as part of their seven-leg multi which stretched over a five-hour time period from the first leg to the last leg.
The selections in the multi were:
Windstorm to win the Weekend Hussler Stakes (Race 3) at Caulfield
Criaderas to win Race 3 at Randwick
Dirty Work to win the Caulfield Sprint (Race 5)
Montefilia to win the Spring Champion Stakes (Race 7) at Randwick
Superstorm to place in the Toorak Handicap (Race 9) at Caulfield [finished third]
Truly Great to win Race 4 at Ascot
Inspirational Girl to win Race 5 at Ascot
Two other TAB punters were celebrating after the Group 1 races that were contested yesterday.
On September 18, one TAB customer placed $200 at odds of $74.25 on Montefilia to win the Flight Stakes and Spring Champion Stakes, which resulted in a $14,850 collect.
Another TAB punter pocketed $22,400 after their $500 wager at odds of $44.80 last Thursday on Odeum to win the Thousand Guineas and Ole Kirk to claim the Caulfield Guineas proved to be successful.
