Tony McEvoy’s unbelievable run of winners in Adelaide has led to a huge win for one Sportingbet Australia punter.
McEvoy has been on fire since going out again on his own as a trainer after years working the Hayes family and the last seven horses he has saddled up in South Australia have all won.
Sportingbet Australia CEO Michael Sullivan one punter who had noticed McEvoy’s hot form had been rewarded handsomely after getting a four leg all up on Sunday with McEvoy’s four winners at Gawler and repeating the dose at Balaklava on Wednesday.
“The punter turned $500 into over $20,000 on Sunday after having four leg multi with Joy Toy in the first, Sky Raider in the second, Grand Ginger in race four and Eikept in the last,†Sullivan said.
“Not content with that win, he went again yesterday taking McEvoy’s three winners in an all up with Tigress Joy and won over $100,000.
“He had a four leg all up with McEvoy’s three winners La Bouche, Evidentia and $10 chance Protector along with Tigress Joy which won him $80,000 and then took McEvoy’s three in a separate bet for a win of $35,000.â€
“It is fair to say, I think the punter would be happy to buy Tony McEvoy a cold beer if he sees him walk into the front bar of his local pub.â€
