Sportsbet.com.au have got their markets out for racing this Saturday, and we have tried to find a runner from each city that appears overs in betting, and hopefully we can continue our good form after finding Calanda at $7 last week.
Flemington Race Seven Number 11 Victory Downs ($15):
Good overs for mine in the Winter Championship Final. Talented SA galloper who deserves a crack at the big smoke after a dominant win in the Swan Hill Cup last time out where he was heavily backed late in the race and the punters got it spot on as he charged home from off the pace to get the job done. Gets really good weight relief and I think he can measure up.
Warwick Farm Race Nine Number 14 Nonpariel ($4.40):
Looks the best bet on the card, so $4.40 is good shopping, mainly due to a lack of opposition. smart filly for the Godolphin camp who has been given a three week break since racing over 1200m at Rosehill where I thought she was very brave in defeat behind Test The World, who franked the form seven days later. Good record here and the claim for Adkins is a big tick.
Doomben Race Four Number 2 Anymore ($11):
Tough race but I think this horse appeals at $11. Month between runs since racing in the Gatton Cup where he was backed late in betting and the punters got it spot on as the Toowoomba galloper sat on speed and dashed clear late under Ruby Ride for a dominant win. Has failed badly in town previously, but he finds a very winnable race here.
Belmont Race Eight Number 12 Saker ($23):
Represents value for me in the last. Fred Kersley trained galloper who is on the seven day back up after racing over 1400m here last Saturday where he was 42 days in between runs and just felt the pinch late. Got good stats on wet ground, fitter and up to the mile helps his cause.
