Over The Odds 24/5/2025 – Saturday’s Horse Racing Value Tips and Bets

Ladbrokes have got their markets out for racing this Saturday, and we have tried to find four runners that appears overs in betting, and hopefully we can continue on from last Saturday after finding Melody Again at $27.

Randwick Race One Number 4 Matima ($11):

Matima comes to town for James Cummings off the back of a debut win at Hawkesbury where he knuckled down with purpose late to win and win well. Stable has had a good season with their juveniles and with upside/improvement, he’s in the mix.

Randwick Race Two Numnber 16 Allegro Miss ($61):

I think Allegro Miss is one of the better each way gambles on the program. She should have won two back at Canberra but made amends at Newcastle where she gave them a start and a beating to win quite impressively. Good test here at Midway grade, but confident she can measure up.

Randwick Race Five Number 15 Trapalanda ($19):

Trapalanda is getting better with racing/fitness IMO and 2400m looks ideal. He ran two weeks ago at Gosford behind Asgoodassobergets. He got into a suck in transit and was held up at times but kept chipping away and wasn’t too bad in defeat. Hard fit now and up in trip, I think he appeals.

Randwick Race Seven Number 1 Glory Daze ($26):

Very keen each way on Glory Daze. He ran over the mile here four weeks ago where he got too far out of his ground but really liked the way he finished his race off in defeat. He’ll love the rise to 2000m, has good upside and gets in very well after the claim.
