Odds open after The Hotham Final Field released

The Hotham attracted 131 entries from horses around the country, and the final field is now out.

Sportsbet are tipping that an interstate invader will take out the race for the second year running, with New South Wales trained All The Wine ($4.50) and Pujols ($4.60) heading the betting.

Mental As Anything is a $5.00 chance to be taking The Hotham trophy back with her to the Gold Coast.

The cult hero to come out of last year’s race, Beau Dazzle, is set to return and trainer Dean Boal is hopeful that this will be the race that finally breaks the mare’s 73 start duck which she’s a $31 chance to do.

Briconi ($10) and Costano Mille ($34) are two other horses who will be returning for another chance to win the Richest Battlers Race in Victoria.
