Tasmanian mare Mystic Journey has been installed as $4.50 favourite at TAB to win the 2019 Cox Plate at Moonee Valley.
Following the release of nominations this afternoon, Mystic Journey is a clear top pick in the ‘All In’ market at this early stage in front of Godolphin representative Avilius ($6), French Group winner Danceteria as well as another of the Blue army representatives in Hartnell ($11).
The All Star Mile winner is due to return to racing on Saturday week at Caulfield in what will be her first step towards the weight-for-age championship of Australasia.
“Mystic Journey is a very popular horse and I would suggest she will be a big liability for us should she take her place in the Cox Plate field,” TAB’s Andrew Georgiou.
