Despite Saturday's loss at Moonee Valley, Multaja heads Thousand Guineas markets
Despite being beaten as an odds on pop at Moonee Valley, Multaja is the favourite in the all in market for the Thousand Guineas (1600m).
The James Cummings trained filly burnt the pockets of punters when beaten a lip at the Valley on Saturday but despite that, she has taken over as favourite now at $11, ahead of the best maiden in Australia, Oohood, who is at $14.
The noted firmer over the past week has clearly been the Darren Weir trained Golden Halo, who had no luck in the Quezette last Saturday. She was as much as $101 but is now a $21 chance, alongside Kinky Boom, who was a real eye catcher behind Multaja on the weekend.
