A very strong bunch of three year olds will line up in the Magic Millions Guineas (1400m) this Saturday at the Gold Coast.

2025 Magic Millions Guineas Runner Preview:
1. Bittercreek: I think he’s poorly weighted and yes, he does have talent and class on his side, but for mine, he’s one I am happy to take a risk on and let him go through to the keeper.
2. Give Me Space: Give Me Space and his Vo Rogue win was incredible. He gave them a start and a beating, rounding up his rivals from last to win so damn impressively. Not sure how he goes at the Gold Coast vs Eagle Farm, but he will be one of the strongest late and is a must for exotics.
3. Dawn Service: SCR
4. Catoggio: Attempted to lead throughout in the Vo Rogue and seemingly had his chance but didn’t quite finish the race off. Wide draw, but will press forward, run an honest race…but he’ll struggle late I say.
5. Depth Of Character: If he wins this…my TV and computer are in trouble. Been hot on him since his 2YO season but his Spring was quite poor. Trial work has been solid but happy to watch him go through to the keeper.
6. Snitzanova: All you can do is win, and she has runs on the board being a Sandown Guineas winner last start…but the form around her, IMO, looks awful. All upside with her and have to respect the stable, but for mine, too short.
7. Bosustow: Too far back in the Vo Rogue but he kept finding the line and was pretty good in defeat. Tricky draw but with luck in running, he can take this out.
8. Shangri La Express: Has done nothing since his 2YO season and was plain fresh. Making up the numbers.
9. Street Chase: On speed in the Vo Rogue and for the most part, looked the winner, but was nabbed late by Give Me Space. C Williams on a big tick and with luck from the gate, he’s a knockout hope.
10. King Of Roseau: He was the real eye catcher in the Sunlight. Got too far back, ridden negatively, but really liked the way he closed off. Has a gate to use, can settle much closer and the rise in trip is no issue. A win wouldn’t shock.
11. Cosmic Fire: SCR
12. Hella Fast: He is a nice horse, but will he run 1400m? Off the Vo Rogue effort, I am saying no. Can’t have him.
13. Dance To The Boom: SCR
14. Bauhinia: Bauhinia is the one that has been specifically set for the race and she looks to be humming. Loved the way she let down to give them a start and a beating in the Wyong Magic Millions, producing great change up speed to win impressively. Tick over trial was lovely, she’ll be strong late and does have class.
15. Zoubaby: Thought she did a really good job in the Vo Rogue but seemingly had every chance and I just think she lacks the class to measure up.
16. Yes Lulu: Has been kept on ice since winning the Magic Millions 3&4YO at Caulfield Heath. That race was awful though and this is much, much harder. Can win without me.
17. Arriving Home: 2/2 to start her career and knuckled down with purpose at Randwick last time, but the form out of that race has been crap and I have others ahead of her.
18. Tulleries: It’s hard to get away from Tulleries. She has been dynamic in two starts/wins this time in, the latest at Randwick when taking on the older horses and yes, she was held up at times, but when clear, gee she let down like a good horse to win and win well. The one on the up and she has gears, something most of these do not have.
19. Hell To Pay (First Emergency): Impressive winner of the Magic Millions Maiden but this is a whole new level and not sure he’s up to this class.
20. Territory Ash (Second Emergency): SCR
21. Bollinger Miss (Third Emergency): Making up the numbers.
22. Blitzum (Fourth Emergency): SCR
23. Nuestra (Fifth Emergency): Seriously?

GaiBott look as though they’ll dominate the front with their runners. Dawn Service, Shangri La Express and Catoggio are the three and suspect they’ll control. Outside them, Cosmic Fire and Zoubaby will settle handy, as will Street Chase.
