The barrier draw for Saturday’s Magic Millions 2YO Classic at Gold Coast has resulted in She’s All Class now sharing favouritism at TAB with Swift Witness.
She’s All Class – victorious in the Wyong Magic Millions 2YO Classic on December 16 – eased from $4 to $4.20 after connections drew barrier 18 for the Chris Waller-trained filly.
Swift Witness – $26 before taking out last Saturday’s Gold Pearl at Gold Coast – tightened from $4.60 to $4.20 after gate 11 was selected by connections.
The Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott-trained filly will be aiming to become the fourth galloper in five years to win the Magic Millions 2YO Classic after running at Gold Coast the previous Saturday (Houtzen in 2017, Sunlight in 2018 and Exhilarates in 2019 achieved that feat).
The Toby and Trent Edmonds-trained Alpine Edge has won the Phelan Ready Stakes (December 12) and B.J. McLachlan Stakes (December 26) at his only two starts and firmed from $9 to $8.50 after the barrier draw.
Gold Nugget winner Finance Tycoon will start from the outside barrier in Saturday’s Magic Millions 2YO Classic and the Tom Dabernig and Ben Hayes-trained colt has drifted from $8.50 to $9.50.
