Long shots specked in Sapphire Stakes betting

Sportsbet.com.au punters are chipping away at several runners when it comes to the get out at Randwick this Saturday, the Sapphire Stakes (1200m) for the mares.

There has been good each way support at odds for Ghisoni, Spright, Raiment, Ravi, Danish Twist, White Moss, Nieta, Hetty Heights and Slow Burn, with all of those runners firming, ranging from half a point to $15 with the case for Slow Burn, with some each way bets rolling in.

Favourite for the race is Quilista, a dominant winner of the Birthday Card on Slipper Day. She’s $4.80 out from $4.60 but very solid, holding the call over the mare she beat in that race, Sugar Bella, who is at $5.00 after opening $5.50.
