Long shot heavily backed in the Vo Rogue Plate

Off the back of a very encouraging resumption, Release The Beans has been well specked with Sportsbet.com.au for the Vo Rogue Plate (1350m) this afternoon at Doomben.

The Rob Heathcoate trained three year old resumed two weeks ago in the Gold Edition and was enormous in defeat from on speed when a game third to Me Me Lagarde. Fitter, up in trip, looks a good recipe and punters agree. Opened $11 and touched $6 before settling at $7.

Favourite for the race is Shihonka, who touched $2.15 from $1.95 but is now at $2.05. Starman is at $6 on the second line of betting but has been quite soft.
