Kim Waugh’s promising type Great News has attracted all the early money in the Gosford Provincial Championships Qualifier this Saturday.
Great News opened $2.70 just a few hours ago, however, TAB customers latched onto the mare straight away and have backed her into $2.40 – a clear favourite over the next pair of Electric Girl and Liberty Sun.
The four-year-old hasn’t been seen at the races since finishing second to Two Big Fari at Rosehill on November 20. She boasts a tremendous record of four wins from eight starts and is yet to miss the top three.
Looking further ahead and Great News is rated an $11 chance at TAB to win the Provincial Championships Final at Randwick on April 10.
