Ingratiating heads the odds for the Maribyrnong Plate at Flemington

Race experience vs jumpout form is what Sportsbet.com.au punters will have to decide on when it comes to the Maribyrnong Plate (1000m) at Flemington on Tuesday, with the favourite being in the category of the former.

Ingratiating was an impressive debut winner of the Maribyrnong Trial and relative to the day, he ran good time. Opened $2.60, touched $2.30 but has settled at $2.40.

That late push out is due to strong support for Marine One, a first starter for Lloyd Kennewell. $5.00 was put up and he’s been crunched, now into $3.40, sitting on the second line of betting ahead of Own The Night, who is $8.00 in from $9.00.
