Impressive SA winner from last Saturday, Splendiferous, heads the Ladbrokes.com.au market for the Andrew Ramsden (2800m) this Saturday at Flemington.
The winner gets a golden ticket for the Melbourne Cup and despite the depth, as a whole, being quite thin, there are several quality galloper at the top, including Splendiferous, a dominant winner of the Port Adelaide Cup last Saturday at Morphettville. In early betting she is $3.90 to $3.60 and is best backed.
She holds the call, just, over Point Nepean, who is $3.70 to $4 but has been second best backed. Sound Of Cannons, who bolted up at Sandown this afternoon, has been $61 to $21.
