Imported mare heavily backed in the Christmas Cup at Randwick

Progressive imported mare Alalcance is the gambling companies favourite for the Christmas Cup (2400m) this afternoon at Randwick.

The GaiBott trained mare has been strong since arriving down under and despite the class/depth rise, she is favourite, and a firm one at that, at $3.40.

Sea King comes through the Melbourne Cup and sits on the second line of betting at $3.80. Naval College is rock solid at $7.50, as is Kadavar at $8.
