I Am Excited heads the market for Saturday's Cockram Stakes
A high quality bunch of mares has been assembled for the Cockram Stakes (1200m) this Saturday at Caulfield and the openness is reflected in the market.
Heading the market is the David Pfieffer trained I Am Excited, who was one of the stars of the Sydney Autumn Carnival. She’s at $4.40 and rock solid, touching $4.20 before easing back.
The class of the field is clearly Catchy and she is being kept very safe at $6 while the progressive mare Jamaican Rain has been best backed, into $7.50 from $8.50.
The other met with early interest has been Leather’n’Lace, who is $14 in from $17.
