The jump outs were on once again on Friday morning at Flemington, with a couple of strong performances. Find out who caught out attention the most down below:
BLACK BOOK: Black Book these runners HERE so you don’t miss their next run!
Flemington- Friday, September 11, Weather Fine, Track Good 4.
Heat One- Hard Stride (1st):
Talented sprinter for the Ellerton/Zahra team who hasn’t raced since the Autumn. He looked very sharp in winning this trial win, sitting on speed for the entire trip before taking the lead close to home and pulling clear for a good win. He has a very good first up record, so he should run well wherever he resumes.
Heat Two- Songspur (2nd):
Hasn’t raced for 12 months, but he looks on track for a good return to racing based on this jump out performance, where he sat on speed for the entire trip and travelled well. He ended up running second, but he looked to be under a good hold for the entire trip.
Heat Seven- Kraftwerk (2nd):
He has been given a little freshen up after running well at Morphettville Parks behind talented type Cashed. He looks to have returned home in great order, judging by this effort here. He got away well to lead comfortably and was under a nice grip from the rider and was eventually run down, but under no pressure.
