RACE FOUR
Brigantine landed a nice move to take out the Cleanaway Handicap (1300 metres).
The James Cummings-trained galloper opened the day as an $18 chance but constant specking throughout the day saw it more than halve that quote to jump $8.
Hoover Lucy ($8.50-$5) was a decent firm too and ended up starting favourite.

Punters embraced one of Australia’s best horses heading into the TAB Concorde Stakes (1000 metres).
Nature Strip started a $1.50 favourite and although red figures throughout betting, punters weren’t perturbed and were more than willing to jump on board.
The multiple Group One winner led and was never troubled, landing a number of big bets and multis in the process.
Chris Waller’s star gelding held close to 70 percent of the market and was more than six times as popular as anything else in the race.
Wild Ruler ($4.40-$5) was best tried outside the fav.
BETS: Nature Strip $5,000 @ $1.60, $5,712 @ $1.55, $5,000 @ $1.55 TWICE, $20,000 @ $1.50, $6,000 @ $1.50
RACE SIX
Jamaea did nothing but drift in betting for the Darley Furious Stakes (1200 metres).
Robert & Luke Price’s talented filly went up $9 on Wednesday and was $13 this morning, however, by race time TAB was offering up $21.
She did attract some money at the price but the bulk of investments focused on three runners – De An Andretti, She’s All Class and Najmaty.
De An Andretti ($8.50-$4.20) was sensationally backed into favouritism and was $13 when markets opened on Wednesday. As much as $26 was available in ‘All In’ betting on Monday.
Najmaty ($5-$6.50) did get out a touch as did She’s All Class ($4.20-$5).
BETS: Jamaea $500 @ $21, $500 x $1,000 e/w @ $19/$4.20

Annabel Neasham’s stable star went around as one of the most popular gallopers on the card at Randwick, commanding 52 percent of the market.
Attracting plenty of big bets and multis, Zaaki held four times more money than Dreamforce ($7.50-$5).

The late push for Think It Over was right on the money with the Heineken Chelmsford Stakes (1600 metres).
Peaking at $5.50, Think It Over started $4.40 to put him second behind Cascadian ($3.10-$2.90-$3) which had been well tried all afternoon.
She’s Ideel ($7.50-$5.50) had plenty of admirers also and along with the two favs were the only ones to command six figures on TAB Fixed Odds.
Nancho ($21-$11-$13) was specked at odds as was Riodini ($61-$34) which nearly pulled off a huge upset.
BETS: Think It Over $10,000 @ $5

Geist ($5.50-$6.50) was best tried outside the winner along with Cuban Royale ($11-$6).
BETS: King Of Sparta $20,000 @ $2.40, $5,000 @ $2.40
MOONEE VALLEY
RACE TWO
One of the ‘good things’ of the day did the job for punters in the second event on the card at Moonee Valley.
Mr Brightside went $3.80 into $2.45 and was a dominant favourite. He was the only horse to hold six figures with TAB Fixed Odds and was responsible for over half the total investment.
The Team Hayes runner was a terrible result for TAB.
BETS: Mr Brightside $10,000 @ $2.40, $3,000 @ $2.40, $2,142 @ $2.40, $1,800 @ $2.25
RACE THREE
Mynumerouno was a bit soft in betting but still proved too good in the Inglis 2022 Yearling Sales Series Plate (1200 metres).
Nick Ryan’s rep was $12 in the morning but kept getting out in betting, peaking at $21 before a late firm into $18.
The money horse was Taunting who was two-and-a-half times as popular as anything else in the race. It was one of the first horses backed on Wednesday and opened $4. Today, it was $3.20-$2.80.
BETS: Mynumerouno $500 @ $21, $500 e/w @ $19/$4, $2,000 @ $3.40 PLACE
RACE FOUR
Favourite backers were on good terms with themselves after Degraves arrived in time to win the Powerflo Solutions Handicap (2040 metres).
TAB went up $5 about its chances on Wednesday and punters were quick to snap up the overs. Today, that support continued with a decent push from $3.70 into $2.90.
Coolth ($6-$7) was the second most popular runner in terms of money held (behind the winner), while Pancho ($6-$4.40-$5) had plenty of admirers.
BETS: Degraves $3,000 e/w @ $4.20/$1.75 & $4,000 e/w @ $4/$1.70 (both bets taken yesterday), $3,000 @ $3.70, $1,000 @ $3.70, $2,500 @ $3.60, $2,824 @ $3.10, $2,000 @ $3, $1,000 @ $2.90 MULTIPLE TIMES

The Inferno was kept safe in betting and was specked throughout the afternoon, going $7.50to $5.50 before jumping a $6 shot.

Zouzarella defied a big drift to power away in the Atlantic Jewel Stakes (1200 metres).
The Anthony & Sam Freedman runner opened the day at $7.50 but blew out to as much as $15 before trimming up to $13 late. Although having her share of admirers, Zouzarella was overshadowed by her stablemate Argentia in betting.
Argentia ($3.70-$2.90) was crunched and went around with 40 percent of the money in the race. Scorched Earth ($5) was the only other runner to hold six figures with TAB Fixed Odds.

BETS: Argentia $2,000 e/w @ $3.60/$1.65, $2,000 @ $3.60, $3,000 @ $3.10, $1,500 @ $3
RACE SEVEN
In a very open Chautauqua Stakes (1200 metres) it was Express Pass which landed the money.
Giving trainer Nick Ryan a double after Mynumerouno saluted earlier in the day, Express Pass ($13-$16-$14) had some interest at eachway odds but most punters were focused on Bella Nipotina and Ancestry.
Bella Nipotina ($4.80-$3.30-$3.40) was nearly twice as popular as the next best supported galloper which was Ancestry ($6.50-$8).
Dalasan ($23-$17) had specking late at the juicy odds and Pintoff ($4.80-$4.60) was kept safe.
