Philizzy ($6) landed some good bets in taking out the Hyland Race Colours Handicap (1150 metres).
The Anthony Cummings-trained runner was kept safe in betting and hovered around the $6 mark for most of the day, peaking at $7 in the morning.
Hinchbeast ($3.40-$4.20) was the most popular runner in terms of money with the runner-up Osamu ($4.80), and $11 chance on Wednesday, the next best.

RACE TWO
In a very open edition of the TAB Highway Handicap (1400 metres).
Although saluting at $23 on TAB Fixed Odds, Denmiss had been specked throughout the day with its price fluctuating between $26-$21 on the day.
Jawwaal ($4.80) went around as favourite and held the most money while there was also strong support for Greenspan ($9.50-$7) and Irish Songs ($5).

RACE THREE
The money was spot on for the running of the SKY Racing Active Handicap (1300 metres).
Discharged ($3.90) went around as the second most popular runner behind Geo ($5.50) while Satin Socks, which rounded out the trifecta, also had plenty of admirers after going $11-$4.80 throughout the week.

RACE FOUR
Lashes defied the drift to knock off the hot favourite in the Schweppes Handicap (1100 metres).
Lashes went around with a fifth of the money that Adelong ($2.10-$1.85), going $3.10 to $3.90 on the day.
Adelong was one of the better supported runners on the program and went around with nearly 60 percent of the money.

TAB punters were on the money in the TAB Handicap (2400 metres) with the move for Dark Pearl paying dividends.
Dark Pearl went $8.50-$6.50 on the day and was one of the most popular runners in terms of money taken, with only Guise ($3.80-$5) and Quality Seeker ($4.80-$3.80) responsible for more.

Team Snowden continued their recent good run with Jen Rules ($4.20) getting the cash in the Ranvet Handicap (1300 metres).
Ridden by Christian Reith, Jen Rules hovered around the $4.20-$4.40 mark for most of the day and attracted good money. In fact, she was the second most popular runner in the race behind Hes A Hotshot ($3.30-$2.70-$3.10).
There was a move early this morning for Celer ($7.50-$4.60-$5) but that money dried up in the afternoon.

RACE SEVEN
The Maroubra Handicap (1550 metres) proved to be the most competitive betting affair on the Randwick card.
every one of the seven runners came in for some sort of decent backing.
Mushaireb, despite drifting from $3-$3.60, went around holding the most in front of Roman Son ($7.50), Reflectivity ($3.70) and New Universe ($5.50).

RACE EIGHT
Word For Word was very costly again for its backers.
The Chris Waller runner was heavily tried in the Bisley Workwear Handicap (1550 metres) as it has been at its past two starts, however, it was another placing.
Word For Word went around with 65 percent of the market and was a dominant $1.80 favourite.
The winner was Mercurial Lad ($51), the rank outsider, which went around with the least amount of money.

RACE NINE
Rare Episode was a late firmer in the Heineken 3 Handicap (1000 metres).
Getting out to $5 at one point during the day, constant specking for the Brad Widdup runner saw it firm into $4.20 at the jump, putting it on the third line of betting behind Royal Witness ($3.80) and November Man ($4.80).
Sophiella ($7) was the other one that TAB customers were willing to back, enticed by the eachway odds.
CAULFIELD
RACE ONE
The move for How Womantic paid dividends in the Cathie Ireland Handicap (1100 metres).
Opening $8.50 earlier in the week, that price was still available this morning but constant specking saw it firm to $6.50.
Although attracting some decent money, Golden Gorge ($2.70-$3.20) was easily the best tried runner in the race and held nearly 50 percent of the total investment. TAB initially opened the Robert Hickmott runner at $3.90 on Wednesday.

Our Campana defied the betting drift to take out the Robert Newman Handicap (1100 metres).
The Colin Little runner had been posted as a $3.10 second elect on Wednesday, however, by the time the race rolled around TAB customers were securing $4.60.
Clarice Cliffs was easily the best tried runner, jumping a $2.40 favourite and holding 53 percent of the total investment.
Of the others, Propelle ($4.40) held the most money outside the favourite.

Bams On Fire proved costly again for TAB customers.
The Maher & Eustace runner was a very popular $2.50 favourite for the running of the Melissa Broadley Handicap (1200 metres), going around with five times the amount of money than any other runner.
In fact, the winner Montenegro Man ($5) was the second most popular runner.
Bams On Fire held 55 percent of the money.

There was real confidence about the chances of Mrs Beckham in the Margaret Hogan Handicap (1400 metres).
The daughter of Toronado was $4 at 9am this morning but consistent support throughout the day saw her jump a dominant $2.90 favourite. Such was the weight of money for the Ellerton & Zahra runner that she displaced Shezawitness ($3.40-$4.40) as favourite.

It was an upset in the first leg of the Quaddie with Saucy Jack ($61) saluting at huge odds.
The Jess Eaton-ridden Saucy Jack had little support despite drifting from $34 in the morning all the way out to $81, before a late trim up.
The Tristan Parisienne Handicap (1400 metres) was a very competitive betting affair with Thunderdome ($4) holding the most in front of Sizzleme ($10-$6.50), Night Guy ($6.50) and Montaser ($9-$5.50-$3.80), with the latter firming up very late.

RACE SEVEN
Conqueror delivered a losing result to TAB in the Michele De Silva Handicap (1400 metres).
A member of the Hayes, Hayes & Dabernig stable, Conqueror ($3.10) held more than twice as much money as the favourite Turn The Tide ($3.30-$2.80).

RACE EIGHT
Just Benjamin was a costly proposition in the Troy Janssens Handicap (1600 metres).
The $2.70 favourite had been as much as $6 in betting at one point, going around with approximately 43 percent of the total investment.
Exasperate ($34) only had very light specking but one at odds that did have some backing was Wyangle ($41-$26).

RACE NINE
Skelm landed some nice bets in the Jason Caffyn Handicap (2000 metres).
Opening at $7.50 earlier in the week prior to scratchings, Skelm was a $4.40 chance which put it on the second line of betting behind The Black Leopard ($3.80).
The pair held the most money in the race and between them were responsible for 55 percent of the total investment.
