Heavily backed Missile Stakes favourite in doubt to race

Private Eye is a clear wagering sites favourite for the feature race at Randwick this Saturday, the Missile Stakes (1200m).

The Joe Pride trained gelding is first up and the market push early indicates he is here to play fresh despite his trainer saying he is in doubt to race due to the wet weather hitting Sydney of late. He sits as favourite at $2.50, in from $2.90.

General Salute is at $4 on the second line of betting, ahead of Robusto at $6.
