Punters were quick to back a Golden Slipper contender at big odds after he made easy work of his rivals winning by a margin in a trial at Warwick Farm this morning.
The Godolphin owned Plague Stone smashed his rivals by close to five lengths in a barrier trial this morning which prompted punters to snap up the $31 available for the son of Lonhro to win the Golden Slipper 2018.
Plague Stone who is now at $13 in markets for the Golden Slipper has had the one start where he was beaten as the odds on favourite in the Golden Gift at Rosehill by Secret Lady.
