Godolphin colt Bivouac has opened favourite for Saturday's Vain Stakes

Godolphin three year old Bivouac is favourite to take out the Vain Stakes (1100m) this Saturday at Caulfield.

The James Cummings trained colt hasn’t raced since scoring an impressive win in the Kindergarten during the Championships. Trial in Sydney was solid and Bowman is booked to steer. He heads the market at $2.70.

Dubious is at $3.50 on the second line of betting with John Allen to steer and that pair do hold a good percentage of the market, with next best being last start Stakes placegetter Excess Funds at $6.50.
